Background Do We Have?
The
Director of Effective Answers is Scott Trembath who has worked for Federal,
State and Local Government in Victoria, Australia over a period of 20 years.
Scott
has the following background skills and experience:

Educated in high standard analytical thinking and research through a
strong research-based qualification (Bachelor of Arts Honours, University of
Melbourne).
·
Wide sweeping policy and program experience over 20 years at
Commonwealth, State and Local Government levels.
·
Strongly experienced in a range of social and economic portfolios,
including the areas of social planning, asset management, social housing, urban
planning, education & social service delivery and the skills of business
planning, program review, policy review, program management, social research
and administration.
·
Strongly experienced in social research through demographic analysis,
opinion sampling, survey development and analysis, client interviewing, and
public meetings re specific social issues.
·
Excellent familiarity with team dynamics, peer and hierarchical support
strategies, personnel development strategies and the overall need to maximise
organisational output from a consensus-driven and informed workplace.
·
Well experienced in negotiation with a divergent range of interest
groups through program review role in Public Housing, e.g. specific ethnic
interest groups, AIDS advocacy, older persons' interest groups, youth needs, public tenancy advocacy groups etc.
·
Excellent knowledge of local community,
non-government organisations and community development roles through
involvement with Public Housing estate administration, experience with Melton
Shire Council, experience with Wyndham City Council and consultancy roles.

Excellent communication skills through developed community consultation
technique, interest group and advocacy negotiation as well as very successful
program development writing, social analysis reporting, community profiling and
reporting to senior Government management, inclusive of Ministerial level.
